oil on panel

This is a painting of my niece, Azalea. I decided to simplify the background that I initially planned for a more calming effect.

I love the serenity that your paintings radiate. In this one, especially. It’s such a trademark of your work – a feeling of deep calm and a smoothness to how you show things. Your most beautiful picture to date, this one!

I’m glad you like it! Thanks for your comments, Anya. It is great to hear feedback on the work I’ve been making. It is especially helpful to see how others perceive it.

  3. She looks a lot like you in this painting. Like a little Sheila.

That’s cute. She’s probably daydreaming about traveling.
